I first met this family when big brother Jack was about one year old. Then he stopped by my studio when he turned two to do a paint splash mini-session. Right after that last July his parents were given terrible news, that their son had a brain tumor and needed surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. They have been living in Memphis since July 2014 while Jack has been attending St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

They recently stopped in Omaha for a week to rest at their home before Jack’s next session of chemotherapy. Jack’s mom emailed me to see if I could fit them in for a quick session. Of course I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to see Jack and his little 5 month old brother Jase. I look forward to seeing them again when they come home!
